Single Sign-On (SSO) for Starred

Learn how to set up and use SSO with Starred using any SAML 2.0 or OpenID Identity Provider, including Okta, Auth0, and OneLogin.

Single Sign-On (SSO) is an authentication method that allows users to log in once and gain access to multiple software systems using a single set of credentials. It provides a more secure and convenient way for companies to manage employee accounts.

Starred SSO

Starred allows your users to sign in via Single Sign-On.

  • Users can access your organization’s Starred account through your chosen Identity Provider (IdP).

  • Starred supports any SAML 2.0- or OpenID-compliant Identity Provider.

  • Okta, a leading IdP, has officially verified Starred.

  • SSO is a paid feature.

To set up SSO, you only need to provide your metadata file — Starred will handle the rest of the configuration.

📘 Note: Starred does not support IdP-initiated logins. SSO logins must be initiated through the Starred link shared by your team.
